Having grown up surrounded by rattan craftsmanship in the village of Cirebon, these artisans learned the trade from an early age by observing and helping their parents and neighbors. Working entirely by hand, from frame making to weaving and finishing, they value the subtle irregularities and human touch that give each piece its own character.
