Candeia’s design was informed by gentle memories from the designer, Rui Alves’ childhood: traditional oil lamps used around his home in the city of Porto. This piece comes in a pure solid brass base designed to develop a beautiful patina with time and is paired with a thick and deep amber glass windshield that will lend a romantically moody touch to any interior. The thickness and shapes of the pieces were part of the initial design exploration process during product development.
