Teia Floor Rug

In these wool compositions, designer Hallgeir Homstvedt pays homage to the pioneering textile work of Anni Albers. Hallgeir’s characteristic exploration of optical effects in his work finds new expression in these Teia rugs, which combine organic undyed and hand-dyed wools. Teia, which means web or a weaving warp in Portuguese, features simple graphical patterns of intersecting lines and planes which build upon each other to create complex visual rhythms.
