These wooden trays are all about joinery details. The design of the Ponte Tray carries a Portuguese signature, as well as Scandinavian and Japanese influences. Ponte means bridge in Portuguese – a set of trays that support, highlight, and transport the things we love. This particular tray in maple wood comes with a bookmatched veneer detail on the tray’s surface that gives it a distinctive allure. As a design prototype from the initial stages of product development, maple veneer was used to test the visual impact of the choice of the wood. This prototype was a crucial part of the journey of the eventual product. Maple as a finish option is now only available for project orders.
