The Poise candle holders are designed to bring light, balance and grace. A subtle statement piece that seemingly allows the light to float, but always holds it solidly in place – a small sculpture in its own right. Poise is sand cast with a raw finish and polished flat surfaces, emphasising the qualities of the chosen metal. This horizontal Poise candle holder is cast in brass instead of aluminium. As it is a materials exploration, the base is a separate piece attached by a screw. The vertical and horizontal Poise are one-offs in brass and could be interesting when placed as a pair.
