The Weaver’s Chair is the latest addition to The Weaver’s Collection which already encompasses stools of various heights, a bench and a plinth. Stackable and geometric in structure, the Weaver's Chair adds an elegant yet practical presence to interior spaces. Originally conceptualized in smoked ash wood with black paper cord, the resulting beauty of this combination inspired Gabriel Tan to extend this dark edition to the rest of the pieces in the Weaver's Collection for 2023.

Building on the enduring appeal of our original Weaver’s Chair, we present two new editions that expand the collection’s vocabulary while maintaining its essential character. The geometric clarity of the frame, with its robust yet refined proportions, now serves as a canvas for new expressions: a shaker-inspired checkered paper cord pattern that adds rhythmic complexity to the original weave, and a leather or textile upholstered version over foam and elastic webbing that brings a new level of padded comfort with a minimalist expression.
